FLOW Digital Infrastructure and AyalaLand Logistics Holdings Corp. broke ground on the development of its first joint data center campus, ML1, located in Laguna.

A-FLOW is a joint venture between FLOW Digital Infrastructure, an investor, developer and operator of digital infrastructure in Asia Pacific; and AyalaLand Logistics Holdings Corp., the largest developer of industrial parks in the Philippines which was announced around October of 2022.

The venture’s first data center is strategically located in Laguna, accommodating a total of 36 megawatts (MW) IT (information technology) load capacity, with the initial rollout of 6 MW, targeted to be ready for service by the end of 2024.

With the launch of A-FLOW, the partnership supports the digital growth and expansion of businesses in the Philippines, leveraging FLOW’s deep data center expertise and ALLHC’s established record in industrial real estate development. The carrier neutral facility will be built to the latest industry standards and will feature resilient power delivery design with diverse power feeds.

“We are looking forward to the promising start of A-FLOW’s first data center project in the Philippines. We believe our cutting-edge digital infrastructure solutions and ML1’s strategic location, will enable customers in the region to scale rapidly and seamlessly,” Amandine Wang, FLOW Digital Infrastructure chief executive officer, remarked.

Patrick Avila, AyalaLand Logistics Holdings Corp. chief operating officer, shared that they take pride in contributing to the country’s fast-growing needs and transition toward a digital economy. — Ed Paolo Salting
