From Manila Bulletin

AyalaLand Logistics Holdings Corporation (ALLHC), a subsidiary of property giant Ayala Land Inc., has started construction of its Ready-Built Facilities within Cavite Technopark in Naic, Cavite.

Launched under its industrial leasing brand ALogis, the new facilities will add 16,000 sqm gross leasable area to the existing 13,000 sqm area of the first phase.

The existing leasable area, which was launched in 2017, is currently occupied by manufacturing and assembly firms.

Cavite, with its low labor costs and rich human resource, shows great potential as indicated by the sustained growth of thriving businesses in the province over the years.

This has allowed ALLHC to support various industries including tobacco, toys, bags, and laser printing.

Likewise, the Ready-Built Facilities in the second phase are targeted to accommodate light to medium enterprises starting December 2021.

“The addition of this second phase of ALogis Naic strengthens our position as the preferred partner in real estate logistics solutions,” said ALLHC Head of Industrial Parks and Real Estate Logistics and Laguna Technopark, Inc. (LTI) President Patrick C. Avila.

He added that, “Our PEZA-registered multi-use facilities are suitable for the immediate operations of light to medium enterprises such as manufacturers, logistics providers, distribution centers, and commissaries.”

ALogis Naic is in close proximity to international gateways, being 15 minutes away from the Cavite Gateway Terminal and an hour’s drive from the Sangley Airport.

More infrastructure projects such as the Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX), the Manila-Cavite Expressway (CAVITEX) extension, and the Cavite-Tagaytay-Batangas Expressway (CTBEX) are primed to boost its accessibility and connectivity.

ALLHC President Maria Rowena M. Tomeldan said “The second phase of ALogis Naic will reinforce Cavite Technopark as a co-catalyst for progress in South Luzon. Further energizing the community of Naic, the expansion will also generate more employment opportunities for Cavite citizens. We hope that this project will continue to contribute to the growth and development of the region.”

Apart from ALogis Naic, other ALogis sites are located in Biñan, Pampanga, Calamba, and Manila, contributing over 200,000 sqm of leasable industrial space. At present, ALLHC owns Laguna Technopark, Cavite Technopark, and Pampanga Technopark in Luzon, and Laguindingan Technopark in Mindanao. Other developments of ALLHC include commercial properties, Tutuban Center and South Park Center. — James A. Loyola
